Alongside his technology career, Olumese has always had a strong interest in people, purpose and personal development. He sees himself as a social entrepreneur at heart, with a particular desire to invest in people. For him, the most important return on that investment is seeing people grow, discover their potential and find the courage to move forward.
He is particularly interested in encouraging people who are experiencing life from difficult starting points or navigating seasons of disappointment, uncertainty, limited opportunity or change. His approach is practical: life will not always go according to plan, but with wisdom, resilience, the right perspective and a sense of purpose, difficult circumstances do not have to determine a person’s future.
His Christian faith is central to this outlook. It shapes his understanding of purpose, service, character and the value of people. He regularly leads and contributes to Christian teaching and conversations around faith, purpose, love, wisdom, perseverance and personal growth.
As an educator, Olumese draws from professional experience, faith and lived experience to explore subjects such as navigating life with wisdom, discovering purpose, building resilience, understanding identity, learning through adversity and remaining adaptable in a changing world.
His aim is simple: to help people navigate life with greater wisdom, resilience and purpose, and to encourage those who may have started from a difficult place to believe that where they begin does not have to determine where they finish.
